The devastation that has unfolded before the eyes of the world is a profound moral and humanitarian tragedy. Thousands of innocent lives have been lost, and entire communities stand in ruin, with the most vulnerable— children, the elderly, and the sick—enduring unimaginable hardship.

Fr. Jubran: Jenin residents remain barricaded at home in West Bank city

As Israeli soldiers continue to occupy the Palestinian city of Jenin in the West Bank, Fr. Amer Jubran, parish priest of the city’s Latin-rite Catholic parish, shares local residents’ concerns for their situation and appeals for prayers.

Father Amer Jubran is the parish priest of the Latin Catholic Church in Jenin, in the occupied West Bank. Originally from Nazareth, he was a formator at the Latin Patriarchate Seminary of Jerusalem in Beit Jala before being transferred to Jenin.
